Trackmaster Revolution (TMR) New releases

Hi all I thought I would start a new sticky the same as the Plarail new release thread. So kicking it off with Mid 2015 Sodor's Legend Of The Lost Treasure...

I found out that Thomas is also going to be streamlined in The Great Race (a Take-N-Play model has been revealed), so I can only assume there will be a TrackMaster one too.

I sure it must be some dream sequence in which Thomas is streamlined. I can tell you I haven't watched any of the recent newest season, I don't think I can do it lol. Interesting toys though.

I'm pretty sure that Thomas will be getting streamlined as well, an unnecessary obligation being the title character as that might sound.

EDIT: My bad, an Amazon description mentions it's just a daydream. Phew.

Yeah I figure it'll be the same deal as what they did with semi spoiler pasting Emily's face onto Caitlin's render for a fantasy for a few seconds. Like Emily, there's no way that streamlining just goes around Thomas' body.

On a side note, though, the streamline thing isn't part of the newest season. It's for the fall special. More than likely it'll be a one-off thing, same with Gordon

I brought this up already in another post i did on this thread and i'm gonna do it again. In the initial description, it's states:

"...but Thomas is determined to find a way. First, he tries to get himself streamlined, but the Fat Controller decides that it would better be suited for Gordon."

So maybe Thomas will get streamlined initially, but when the Fact controllers [sic] sees him, he thinks Gordon would be better suited for streamlining and therefore Thomas gets it removed.

I have watched a gradual decline in story since Andrew Brenner and his writing team took over, it all started very well with the reintroducing of much missed characters but even that can't mask the poor writing and it seems they are clearly out of ideas now... Just my 2 cents lol.

I can watch it but with the sound muted is the best way I have found.

The Tidmouth Bridge looks okay, and I actually really like the trestle bridge, but the glow-in-the-dark track pack isn't very new.

I'm VERY concerned about Luke... I hope it's a prototype for one main reason, since all other complaints about TMR have been made, and they're all present here, but I don't think it makes it look too bad at all.
This main reason is: where are his buffers?!?! Did they seriously think it's okay to be so cheap that you remove buffers ENTIRELY?

If you look closely at the second picture of Luke you can barely see the buffers. Not very prominent though. Besides that, for a Revolution he looks pretty good although I would like a closer look at his rear (can't believe I said that) I think the Revolutions look better with small trains like Luke than the bigger ones.

Why is it that I should look at the back of it??
Also, now I see the buffers, even on the first picture when you zoom in. They're practically drawn on.

Ans I completely agree that the Trackmaster Revolution range is better for the small engines..
