chrisjo There are various apps freely available on the internet that attempt to create an image of your description by searching the bottomless pit of online images and combining elements of each of them to give you what it thinks you asked for. The first image above was done using ‘Copilot’ which comes with MS Windows whether you want it or not, and is very basic. The second one uses Google Gemini, which you will find very easily. More often than not the results are ridiculous, but just occasionally you get something that looks vaguely realistic. I was inspired by two threads on RailUKforums: https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/mad-ai-generated-picture.289210/ https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/show-off-your-realistic-ai-railway-images.289626/

chrisjo Densha You hardly ever get what you asked for, or were expecting! I’m fighting a losing battle trying to get Gemini to produce Pla-kids for me, see for example this typical scene at London Kings Cross:
Donald9Douglas10Oliver11mp Don’t you just hate it when you have to jump down on the tracks, risking your whole life just to get on to your train!
Super I see…so there is no real purpose for these pictures just entertainment like something to do or am I missing a purpose?. To me it looks like cutting out a face from a picture and putting it on another body in the old days. When scanners (which were stand alone and very large) I took a black a white photo of me when I was about 4 with my arm around my cousin (same age) in front of our xmas tree, I was able to paste my fathers face (at same age) over my cousins face and made him a BD card saying We would have been great friends if we grew up together. Took me a month or more of trial and error back then where it probably take less than an hour nowadays.
chrisjo Super so there is no real purpose for these pictures just entertainment Exactly. But the better examples are already being widely used with bad intent, and we will soon get the stage where the old saying ' a photograph doesn’t lie ' can be thrown in the bin.
GreatGordonFan This was quite fun. You could totally fool someone that plarail intend to release figurines of Black Sabbath! Trackmaster II James and a series 500 at Manchester St Peter’s Square tram stop (bit of a fail). (First image copilot, second chatgpt)
chrisjo GreatGordonFan This was quite fun. You could totally fool someone that plarail intend to release figurines of Sabbath! Excellent! It’s addictive. Now give me Queen.
Donald9Douglas10Oliver11mp The tender just being a sticker just slapped on one of the coaches is something I never could have come up and come on who needs the Hogwarts Express when you can just have the Nogmarre Watracols
chrisjo Trying to get a real-life Rebecca picture out of Gemini seems to be near-on impossible. Instead I get a weird Spencer/Rebecca hybrid.
