Your front cab windows are an interesting shape.
According to The Island of Sodor: Its People, History and Railways, Gordon is the experimental prototype for Sir Nigel Gresley’s A1 Pacific design for the Great Northern Railway, built at Doncaster Works in Yorkshire.

However, as he was re-built at Crewe by Sir Topham Hatt, it’s possible the windows were changed at this time. Details are scarce!
In The Three Railway Engines the first book in The Railway Series, (we’ll ignore the dreadful drawings in the 1945-49 edition) his windows looked like this:

Moving swiftly on to the first episode of season one of Thomas and Friends, we see this:

There have been some variations subsequently, but none, I would suggest, as extreme as the ones you have chosen. The unfortunate driver would need to have eyes on stalks to see out of them! Maybe another edit is needed? 🙂
