Anyone know or dealt with Toves_0 from Ebay?

Got an offer from them that is reasonable for my Alfie finally only to run info questions and issues for shipping. They currently have 208 feedback, but that went up between looks at his profile over yesterday and today. Apparently I need to list international shipping on my ad so that it’s seen everywhere else other then just Canada, which may explain why mine is still sitting here instead of on someone’s Thomas Display shelf. While talking with the Ebay rep, they recommended that I decline the offer and add international shipping options.

Also while talking with the rep, I found out that the profile is registered in Ukraine, but the shipping address on the offer was in Great Britain and when I went to send a message to the User, I again saw a U.S. address. All I am seeing us red flags and since I have never sold on Ebay before nor shipped anywhere other then Canadian and U.S. addresses, I went in posting it on Ebay a little leary about the whole process.

Well I know this quick, but I went back into the offer and found that US address.

07064-1813 for the zip and when I Google search it, it comes up as a freight forwarding company at 600 Markley St. Port Reading, NJ and seeing some not so good stuff on Reddit.

Why do I seem to attract all the scanners and low lifes. From. Mother’s saying that their son really lives Alfie and if I would take $30, to naysayers telling me is only with $50-60. Can’t I find someone genuinely interested for a reasonable price? LOL

I would say that the address is possibly genuine.

I know myself and many other users use a similar freight forwarding service when purchasing items from Japan, as Yahoo Auctions and Mercari (basically the japanese versions of ebay) only post within Japan.

What happens is the seller ships their item to a freight forwarding centre, then the company that runs the centre compiles all the items we’ve bought from all over japan together then sends it to us.

It sounds like your dealing with a similar process, except your purchaser is from Ukraine and using the service to get it sent to them.

My issue with that is that they originally wanted it shipped to Great Britain, and then to that address in New Jersey. Even bthe Ebay rep I spoke to said it was kinda fishy. I looked up the zip code online and it comes up as a shipping company that gas apparently gone thru a few name changes and a reddit post I found seems to link the address with alot of lost and stolen packages. Plus, I am unsure with how Ebay handles claims when it goes thru a 3rd party shipper. If it was a $20 item, I’d probably take the chance and learn, but not for an Alfie.
