ROCKINATOR I know I've been almost off the grid lately and not been youtube video making, and I apoligize, there is a video being edited currently which will be out this week. (Hopefully) and here's what I've been devoting most of my time to It's been a lot of work, and it's almost complete and ready for action, and I can't wait to start it up for the first time! It has a 12 hp Briggs and Stratton engine in it with no deck equipment left in it whatsoever, and only needs a starter and someone who knows how to wire a lawntractor. It's been a fun project and I'm pleased with it. Cheers, Patimage.jpg800kB

ROCKINATOR Don't worry, she's already got a name One Eyed Menace due to only one headlight. Going to get some decals for the Name after I repaint her. Still debating on the colour though. Might keep it red like it is now.
ROCKINATOR Hope so. It's chain drive, so no gears to increase the speed, but there is only one belt underneath him as well as the chain. (Belt gearing is for neutral)
Tramp I love it, I like anything like this, unfortunately My garden is tiny and it's not big enough to make owning one worth while! Show us the work you have done on it? The closest thing I've got is the kids electric ride on jeep,
ROCKINATOR This is what I started with- no engine, tires didn't belong to me, and paid nothing for it. Took all the deck gearing out of it, and and took off the seat. and on Friday my engine donor arrived Took off the engine, gas tank, and tires from it. And then I broke a light (hence one eye) in the process of taking the hood off to put the engine in And then I put the hood back on, corrected the eye issue, hooked up the belt (need a different one othe one I have on now is a little to loose.) and put a seat cover on the old seat frame and that's it for now. Will update when starter comes in and I get her going for the first timeimage.jpg832kBimage.jpg1MBimage.jpg1MBimage.jpg1MB
Super Thanks for the pictorial Rock. The tires look pretty good...better put a wheelie bar on that. 🙂
ROCKINATOR She won't be that fast super. But I still need to figure out what spot neutral is so ill be starting her outside. Just to be safe.

My old ride-on mower with the same Briggs & Stratton engine won't start unless it's in neutral. There are other fail-safes too; the blades have to be dis-engaged, and there has to be someone sitting on the seat. You probably knew all that already.
ROCKINATOR Well, my boss was going town and he asked me if I wanted anything so I handed him some cash and told him to get some red spray paint. He got home at about 6:20 last night and I got the paint and hopped to painting. It took about two hours for the four coats, (going to put another couple on today) and this is the result. image.jpg1MBimage.jpg1MB
ROCKINATOR Got my extra can of black spray paint going and painted the frame, the fake grille and the wheel rims. (Rims aren't perfect, neither is the grille) just compare these photos to the old ones. image.jpg1MBimage.jpg2MB
ROCKINATOR Did it start? Find out in my latest non train video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1Cu-3Ikc1M
Tramp Great work rock, it looks like you'll need ear defenders on that thing! Have you been riding if much since you got it running? How's your front tyre holding up from the exhaust gasses?
ROCKINATOR Well tramp, I haven't been riding at all as I've been crazy busy and I had to do up a pulley/belt system, and had to swap the carb, and now I'm in the middle of cleaning the carb. "Murphy's law likes to sneak up and send you back a step for every two you take" Rockinator
