Thanks for that image! Now I know which set the green DE10 comes from. That one is definitely on my “Most Wanted” list.

I like the DE10 because it’s an attractive locomotive in its own right but it also slightly reminds me of the US/Canadian built Alco diesels, like the RS11.

I’ve bought a lot of older stuff from Super or various eBay sellers. I occasionally find stuff on Mandarake. Newer stuff is mostly from Hobby Search, Hobby Link Japan or Japanese vendors on Amazon.

Unfortunately, there haven’t been any Plarail or Tomica items sold at retail in the US in years.

- PR 60th Anniversary Special Set will release in middle June.

I remember seeing a glimpse of the Boulder Mountain Set, although I haven't yet seen a video of it in action, but I can't remember what would be in the 60th Anniversary Set. There is the 60th Anniversary set with the N700 & Type 300 Shinkansen set but that has already released.

We have probably talked about it but I can't remember.

Might be the fact that it's driven by the black truck instead of the engine (there was an earlier version where the engine was motorised). Both are remakes of the original Plarail train from 1959, before motors (and realistic designs) were introduced.
