Rarest Plarail/Tomy Trains

Hi everybody I am new to this forum I just wanted to get everybody's opinion the rarest to my thomas train ever My choice would have to go to powerful Gordon...

I just thought I'd share this..

I got this on eBay UK about 2 years ago, UKL 18.95 including postage (c. 2000 yen, 20 USD). Slightly scuffed but overall VGC.

Silver/Blue = TGV Atlantique
Orange/Grey = TGV Sud-Est.

The single box is Tomica World 7561.

The TGV Set is 7430.

The big Tomica World 7430 set I have seen demand quite a price. Since its Tomica World and the Train is a UK bullet I assume that the set was a UK only release. The big station part looks similar to a couple other sets released in Japan and that motorized Bus looks to be like a couple other Japanese Buses.

I am curious about the rollers in the middle Bus Lane. Do they operate something? The other 2 Lanes have Stop & Go risers so if the center Lane doesn't do anything them why wouldn't it also have the same thing?

The rollers are to let the motor drive wheels freely spin while the bus is stopped by the raising lever.

But doesn't the other 2 Lanes perform the same function by lifting the bus's wheels off the road surface thus stopping it until you release them with a button push?/

That's the 2001 Euro Car Train ユーロカートレイン. No, not very rare, but very nice nonetheless.

maybe it doesn't have the button to release for the middle track.

I can't remember I mentioned it already. I say the Lucky draw for the Metallic Silver Thomas with the 2 silver smelter cars are pretty rare as well

Euro Car Train is not rare.

The type is slightly different from the orange TGV: He means the colour is different. I'm only doing a literal translation. As said before, this is an article that shares very obvious information so one should know that the silver TGV and very different than the orange TGV.

Silver and gold Thomas is rare, as stated before that it is 1/100 and 1/10 respectively.

How about the clear and transparent versions of the bullet trains. Are they rare? I remember whilst I was in japan in 2016 they were advertising a clear dr. yellow 923 as a prize for something, but couldn't read it so i didn't know how to win it.

Those clear Shinkansens are "somewhat rare". They are still available today. In this category of rarity, the Gold Bling Pokemon Train, and the clear E5 Shinkansen is comparable.

Some others I can think of that are rarer than anything related to clear Shinkansens:

Ah...I forgot about the Ultra-Q when thinking about the rarest trains I have. It is certainly a beauty in its 50's style, black and white movie tones.

And the Boat set is something I have only dreamed of having as it rarely becomes available and when it does I miss the listing.

For Tomica World enthusiasts or scholars: The Eurostar had 2 different boxes, one is the red TOMY mark and the other is the blue TOMY mark. I own the red TOMY logo box. TOMICA WORLD might have been a long running series. Any 2 of these fall in the "rarest" category?

They are multilingual, has English, European languages and other continent’s languages.

Getting back, for a brief moment, to the question of 'How Many Rural Station Variations' there are started a few pages back, we can add another one....While looking at our Disney trains I realized that there is also a 'whimsical' version of the Rural Station that came in the 'Disney Dream Railway Toon Town Set

Can the Station in the Mickey Poppo No.2 Set be considered for the list as its not like the other Rural Stations with an Out House? Or is this a different list you are referring to?

They are quite rare, but I don't think they are the rarest after seeing the prices around. I'm not sure if the Japanese in the Japan auctions would pay the same price or a higher price. There were 3 Tomica World Eurostars this year: I bought one, one was bundled with 3 other Tomica World boxes, and the one mentioned by Tharazero1 here.

I thought it was a rural station, but I didn't know the out house was the way to generalise it. As a general rural station, yes.
Clearly a palm tree is replacing the out house. Is a palm tree a rural plant? If yes, I think it is still counted.
