sunhuntin im going to say its not, as the talking ones, in my experience, have a metal colored plate underneath. this moves and this is what reads the green track.
Ucwepn It is not a talk n action magic rail James, you are right it needs the black switch on the rear of the tender and as Charley said above it needs the spring loaded metal plate bump reader under the front.
