sunhuntin nice, rok. as you say, small but has some unusual trains running which makes up for the basic layout. i prefer smaller layouts too. i would like to build more elaborate ones, but limited what i can take on the motorbike. 😃 this link will take you to mine over the years. http://sunsthomasandfriends.weebly.com/show-layouts.html
sunhuntin yupper. i dont drive, so when i build bigger displays, im reliant on my folks being free with their car. only so much room on 2 wheels, though i can pack in quite a bit when needed.
sunhuntin LOL. could do the bus or a taxi if i had to. otherwise i do several trips, ferrying stuff. no passenger trains in my town, only freight. only the really big cities have trains as part of the transport systems here.
sunhuntin what else could you put in? im a big fan of the large bridges like that. the new ones are just pathetic by comparison.
ROKMAN1445 Maybe the back could be the train siding, and the front could be the terminal, which is visible under the table.

ROKMAN1445 I plan to hide Thomas, Annie, and Clarabel in that siding. I still have more trains to use, but I choose certain ones. Oh man the train show is the seventh of November and the guy running it still hasn't called back!!!
sunhuntin thats a good set up for a show. wont take too long to put together on the day. i recommend taking photos or drawing a track plan for yourself, just in case. a habit ive made when trying to remember under a time constraint, lol.
ROKMAN1445 Sun, good strategy. Super, me too!!! I found a 2010 Thomas, and a Tsukuba Express. I plan to use both. And guess what the star of the yard? My EF 60 19!!!
