Just wondering on your guys' opinions on some of the best, or more specifically, more beneficial Thomas and Friends Plarail or Motor Road & Rail train sets? I'm wondering this because I don't want to have to buy a bunch of individual trains and track pieces all my teenage years. Some of them get a bit expensive, and I'd also really love to be able to see one of those big colorful boxes. I never do anymore.
The reason I'd like to get more track in the first place (but don't we all?), is that the last pieces of track we bought in my $100 Amazon lot came. All that's left is Thomas. I tried building a layout, and, although I knew I didn't have enough for my plans, I tried to have fun with what I had, and I didn't even have enough straights to make everything go together.
So, I'd prefer sets with a good straight:curved ratio, or just with new engines for cheap. Engines I'm looking for right now include Donald, Douglas, Emily, Diesel, Duck, Oliver, Bill, Ben, and Arthur.
