Here they are:

The two dark passenger cars at the top were the previous extent of my Daiso collection. Daiso in Sydney were only selling end cars at the time so although they roll well enough on Plarail track they were orphans, not even able to connect to each other. Since then I made connectors to allow the pair to connect back-to-back as shown. I have other connectors to connect to Plarail trains. However as these cars have coupling points only at one end that’s a bit useless.
The discovery of the two No. 2 sections should make things more interesting. They will need a thorough “test” before being given away.
As for Super’s comment above, the housework continues as I type. Other items found so far: two cheap small wooden rail expansion packs from Aldi bought to give away and then buried, and a Kato N-gauge Shinkansen set, an expensive gift from the grateful parents of a Japanese student. Of course I knew exactly where the N-gauge was but had not got it down for a few years.
The Daiso items were also a gift from a grateful parent but they sold for less than $1 each in Japan. Most items sold at Daiso in Sydney are priced at $3.80, and they don’t stock trains here any more.
