You can get HO ones painted by the likes of Presser (I think its spelt that way, its a German company) but they are darn expensive 🙂

The Daiso ones should arrive tomorrow, unfortunately the customs trolls intercepted the parcel fairies as they were trying to escape the flying grotto 🙁

I got my box off the Troll today, got track, the double width elevated supports and a few new trains, I'll post some piccies later if I get a chance if not may have to wait till the weekend. Talking of which watch my other thread as there is a slightly bigger box coming "From Japan" on friday 🙂

I think AC has definitely over taken me in this system - still got the lead on him in Takara stuff though 😃

Seriously I'm surprised more people aren't dipping their toes in the water of Daiso, they are just so darn cheap you can get an enormous box of stuff for the price of a single FP or PlaRail set, or 3-4 trains for the cost of a single loco 🙂

On second thoughts though sod off and leave the good stuff to me and AC 😃 😃

Anyway last night I promised you guys some pictures of the highlights from the latest stuff. So here we are, a bunch of shinkansens, an EF81, a Narita Express (NEX), a really cool cross-over points thingie and the four types of peeps just for you Super 🙂

Trains have a habit of hiding in tunnels and things when you most want to find them 🙂

Those people look cool Nigels. Do any of them have painted faces? Don't take them out of the packaging but is there any chance, in your spare time, you have an HO figure to place next to one of them and take a photo?.

I will be having them out of the packs so will take some more pics. But to answer your query they are I would say almost exactly HO scale. No painted faces apart from the overall flesh colour, but for the price ~$2 a pack they're a steal 🙂

Hey Super, in my box "From Japan" there was a bunch of Daiso included in a job lot of bits and bobs I bought (was one thing I specially wanted in it) and you'll never guess, in the Daiso stuff was a complete "Yufuin no Mori!" 😃 😃
