Trainfanz Ucwepn wrote Yeah in end of evangelion or death and rebirth (can't remember which) they completed the eva series and there was a heap of those white units. The new movies aren't great if I'm honest I much prefer the show and early movies for their story but the new ones have fantastic animation. The Mass Produced EVAs were in The End of Evangelion. Very creepy and a very brutal scene if you've seen the film.
Super Gerisplarail1 wrote Wow the printing on this train is gorgeous! sunhuntin wrote stunning set. I agree 🙂
Nigels Great looking train and with lights as well, I've already got one on the way from a Jauce auction and one of the PlaRail Advance versions on order as well from Amazon JP via From Japan. The only thing I would say is it seems very slow for a Shinkansen or is it just me thinks so? 😃
Super It has a two speed motor and in the video the switch looks to be in the middle position for regular speed not in the High position (forward).
Nigels My one just turned up at the From Japan warehouse, but I'm not ready to ship the other stuff yet as waiting on a couple of auctions in the coming days 🙂
Nigels sunhuntin wrote so can you pre-order on fromjapan? who did you use? One of the advantages of From Japan is you can go to sites like Amazon and buy things on pre-order then they will purchase it for you and when it arrives you just ship or bundle it with your next shipment. Works quite well, they will let you purchase from most big online retailers and although I think it would be expensive if you really want it they will even physically go to a store to get you something if you want it that badly 😃
sunhuntin thanks for that. good to know. since i stuffed up on the nemo, dory and musical disney sets and didnt actually pre-order [dangit... still mad about that.] i wonder if i should look into a pre-order on fromjapan.
Nigels Check Amazon.co.jp first, if they got it you may be able to pre-order it from them through FJ 🙂 BTW - Check my Japanese Auctions thread - my D51-498 finally turned up and no its not a Tomy one 😉
ripley802 Grrr.. 😃 You guys talked me into the Eva type 500. I found it on eBay so I snagged it. I believe the seller has one more. Listed at $35.50 and free shipping. ripley802 wrote BTW. I agree with Nigel, FromJapan is very cool. I have not purchased anything other than from the auction sites, but they are very quick and have great customer service from what I have been through thus far.
ActionChugger Just realized that the Shinkalion robots also uses the same style boxes. So it has been out for a while.

ripley802 Nigels wrote You took so much persuading I bet lol!! 😃 I know.. I know.. I was holding firm, not going to buy, and then, BAM, shows up on eBay, and I clicked buy it now. 😃. It looks like it will be a very nice item, so all is good.
Super Suzukawa takes a look at the new Series 500 Eva. At about the 6:38 minute mark. To me the train looks more rounded than the other Type 500 trains even more than the new Plarail version. Wonder if the interior is specially done up too or its a basic color scheme of all the 500 Series trains.
Trainfanz Super, the EVA 500 has a special interior including a replica of the Entry Plug seats used to pilot the robots in the show.
