I think a Plarail Advance Subway is a fantastic idea and you can use the Tomy Subway Tunnels. Look forward to hear more about your ideas and how your city layout will progress

Thanks for having me🙂
I suppose it's time I formally introduce myself..
My pseudo name is Muddy Poppins..
I love blues so it's a little Muddy Waters crossed with a spoonful of sugary Mary Poppins because my train collection, as is life, is a silly whimsical endeavor..
...and together it kinda sounds like Marty Robbins, another personal favorite🙂
I started collecting in 2009, when my son was 2.
I knew nothing except they were durable, and he liked them..
When he began to differentiate Thomas from Percy from James, by name, face & color, and his vocabulary grew as he began to speak, I began to buy him more and more...
I was inspired by a YouTube video by a fellow in England who goes by Carrick Wilmont, with his meandering floor-to-celing house filled New Years video w/ a haunting Jethro Tull playing somewhere in the background..🙂
I looked down at the check list that read: "Collect Them All!" and said to my oblivious toddler..." OK buddy lets do this!!"..
Ha ha ha!! I had NO IDEA what I was in for or what that actually meant!!
At first it was easy, then as I became more savvy and my knowledge grew (along with the list of trains, a various producers), I realized it was going to be a bit more than I was expecting...after a year or so I realized there was an upper echelon of collectors that existed through my eBay battles as it became more and more difficult...
At one point early on my son began to have a British accent!!.. We live in California!! Lol
Over 5 years now, 300+ ALL different Thomas' from 5 different makers, accumulated from 14 different countries...
I have followed many of your YouTube videos and web pages for years and gained great knowledge and information...
I had hoped to unveil our collection on YouTube myself w/ special thanks to Mr. Wilmont along with all the other great people and eBayers who contributed to this accumulation, but it has grown so large that the time for a proper photo shoot continues to elude me...🙂

Hello Everyone,

My name is Pete or you can call me Kuma-Chan! We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I first ran across Tomica/Plarail on a business trip in Japan. I fell in love with it all! I just needed to wait until my son got old enough to buy it!

Today my son is 6 and has out grown his old wooden train set. "Thomas is for babies daddy".

I recently introduced him to Plarail. Although he is very interested in the non-thomas trains it is really his dad who has gone crazy on Plarail stuff.

I just dropped $200 on yahoo Japan and I am (ah hem, we are) waiting for our shipment. Out of everything I purchased, it is the Yamanote train that I am most waiting for. Cant wait.

Just wanted to say thank you for having this site and giving me a place which indulges my Plarail obsession. If any of you are local, I would love to meet up and perhaps trade.

Hi I'm flindersuk. As the name suggests I'm from the UK, Sheffield to be exact.. Since getting the idea if buying one Trackmasters set for my 2 year old son this last Christmas I got slightly obsessed with it all and am currently bidding on my 22nd engine :-).
Think I'm hooked on a child's toy :-)...

Some of you already know me , Hiyas Sun , whilst others have most probably bought from me either at shows or online .

I run Tootally Thomas and am soon launching a Plarail site selling the full advance range , Disney range , Chuggington range and other bits and pieces .
