DalaGStanator What the Flip Face are these? These have to be the strangest Plarail trains I've ever seen. Are the front and rear cars removable by any chance?

No. I have one at home. They are extremly fragile. Hence only 2 of them were every made. The car in each end has only one set of wheels (in case anybody is curious). Good for older kids not so much for the children.
Super Thanks for the firsthand info Leyland. I thought Ucwepn had one in a video but I can't seem to find it. Always assumed that the listing of the Nagasaki Electric Tramway Type 3000 was the white one but on closer inspection its the silver one. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10168443
Ucwepn Yes they are trams/trolley cars. The coupling between compartments break very easily and are broken on both of mine (poor design). I do have a video it's the first plarail one I ever did.

leylandvictory2 if you have an extra set, you can literally extend the train. I tried to couple 2 ends together without the middle carriage. The hooks don't extend long enough for me to pull it off.
leylandvictory2 correct the middle carriage is where the battery compartment located. the middle carriage has a male and a female coupler. each end also have either a male or female coupler but they are imbedded inside not expose. Hence they can't be connected together without the middle carriage.
