Ucwepn Hi Friends, saw these pictures come up in my facebook feed from the Plarail Indonesia group so all credit for these pics goes to them. Just amazing! 17388850_10210423069910272_7606485749954702058_o.jpg661kB17309980_10210423069070251_7977981886933481806_o.jpg266kB17390574_10210423068990249_9012524701130036101_o.jpg202kB17436088_10210423069030250_7089171957781273739_o.jpg237kB
Super Wow, those are a lot of Disney bridges. I am surprised that the visitors can walk right up to the tracks. Wonder how many accidents they have had where a toddle grabbed or fell into it. Thanks Ucwepn for sharing.
Off The Rails That is awesome to the point of overwhelming! As much as these huge, elaborate exhibition layouts impress me, I would probably never try anything like it myself. I'd love to have a few of those bridges though.
Nigels Unbelievable layouts, but is it just me, but I don't see any trains running on them so what's the point? If you could see loco's running round them I think they would truly be awesome...

I admire the work and effort that go into these mega layouts but the trains seem to get lost in the structure.
DalaGStanator And I used to think this thing was spectacular: All that track could've instead been used to recreate the entire Great Railway Show yard (including the external "runways" used for the Great Race), preferrably as a public mini-GRS with custom remote controlled models of the international engines (and Mr. Motorman for some existing ones) that could enact the film's events. Also, anyone remember the times of TooMuchThomas? They had some really genius public layouts. They even made an incline using a Tomy Gordon for power, and used a record player to make a turntable. Wonderful times.
ROKMAN1445 These layouts seem to break more records than I've broken HO horn hook couplers. Let's just say, my HO fleet is half of what it used to be.
Off The Rails One the nuttier ideas I've had was to run a train on a Rails-to-Trails segment like James May did some years back. Originally, the idea was to use a common scale like HO or O (or even G scale) but then we started buying our son Trackmaster stuff and a new version of the idea popped into my mind! That isn't going to happen but it's a fun idea.
