Yeah I remember seeing that listing too. Maybe it was attained similarly to the Clear Clarabel

I would think that if they were given away with toy purchases that they wouldn't be so hard to find. I would think they would be just as easy as the Clarabel.

What is also interesting to me is that the Plarail Expo giveaway of the clear blue Annie...was first and it took a couple of years before the clear blue Clarabel was given away.

Well, how often does the 2014 SCRuffy come up? (Particularly new in the plastic, or otherwise identifiable as the 2014 one and not just one from a Duck.)

There were only 2000 of them available as rewards for purchasing 2000 yen worth of Thomas Plarail at Toys r Us, of which their Japanese website tells me there are about 200 stores in Japan.

With no similar blog post as far as I have found, if there's only a few thousand clear Annies, I don't see why it wouldn't be hard to find.

NEW ADDITIONS!!

My 2 Clear Thomas Sets came a couple days ago (one to open, one to keep BNIB) and I'm so happy to finally have it in my hands. I must admit I will have no use for the Clear Chirin Tekoro James and Percy, and they will ultimately just spend their time in the box. The Winston and Fat Controller Plakid on the other hand will be used, particularly the Sir Topham Hat Plakid, due to it being a very nice representation of him. However the ultmate reason on why I bought this set was of course for the Thomas. I'm not too happy about Plarail cutting back on the quality with their items, which can be shown through the Thomas having no painted rear buffers, and a lack of a Lamp sticker on the back, but they make up for it for the astonishing look of this train. Coupled alongside with the Clear Annie and Clarabel, and they look absolutely amazing. Whenever I decide to use the Clear Thomas, I know that the only thing he'll be pulling is the Clear Annie and Clarabel, they just look so amazing together. Although I would've rather to pay a bit more cash for more motorized engines, I am still overall very happy, and glad to add 2 of these sets to my collection.

Yes, the Sir Topham Hatt PlaKid is a neat addition to a PlaKid Collection for sure. I can't help but think that this is not the first time he was released though.

Do you also have the clear blue Annie and Clarabel set Duck?

Yeah he was definitely released in previous sets as well, although I can't pinpoint the exact ones. I'm not sure if you're referring to me but yeah I have a Clear Blue Annie and Clarabel on the way from Japan that should arrive during Christmas time

NEW ADDITIONS!!!

Well it's my birthday today so I thought it would be a perfect time to show my most recent PURCHASES!!!

First up I attained the Trackmaster Celebration Percy and James, along with the Golden Thomas, which means that I only have the Celebration Thomas left to find before my 75th anniversary Trackmaster releases are complete.

Now up next is a BRAND NEW Tomy Motor Road and Rail Lady, now if there is one thing you should know about me and my collection is that in the future I want to collect every single train ever released in their Blue Motor Road and Rail Box, and once I saw this lady come up for sale for only $40 AUD!!! (I KNOW SO SO CHEAP) I had to jump on it. As you can see I'm very excited,, and Lady is one of the trains that normally goes for a lot of money so i was ecstatic when I got it for so cheap!

Now since it's my Birthday Today, my absolutely wonderful girlfriend got me a present, and as I told her about my massive fascination of Motor Road and Rail Boxes, she decided to buy me a BRAND NEW Tomy BOCO!!!

As you may be able to see I am OVER THE MOON with my purchases (and my gift) and can't wait to ad more to my collection!

NEW ADDITIONS

Hi guys, as you all know by now I am obsessed with Motor Road and Rail boxes, so I decided to add 7 (YES 7) more to my collection. I managed to find this South African Website, where a seller was selling Bill, Rusty, Toby, Diesel 10 and Arthur, Brand New for ONLY $20 EACH (ABSOLUTE BARGAIN). So I decided to pick up 1 of each and 2 of Rusty, which I have now opened because I have never had a Rusty to use before. Furthermore, I also picked up a Brand New Tomy Mavis, and Ben. Out of all of them I am most happy with the Brand New Arthur, as I've never seen one for sale with his box so to add a new one to my collection was great.

Now all of you know that its my collecting mission to collect every Tomy Thomas train released in their Blue Motor Road and Rail Box, and with this haul I feel that I made pretty good inroads on it.

They also look great when pictured with the rest of my collection too 😃 😃 😃

Will also have something else coming which you guys will like too!

Overall I am very happy with my purchases, and I will be keeping most of them, but some will be sold off. The trains I'm most happy about in this package are of course the Metallic Thomas, as I've wanted one ever since I was a kid and to finally have one is amazing, 3x Clear Brown Annie, just due to its ULTRA RARITY, now I have 4! The Plarail 0 Series Shinkansen, as this is my favourite Bullet Train of Japan, and I finally have one now! The Plarail Talking James, because I always remember being fascinated by the Talking trains in that 2006 Plarail Video (those who have seen it will know what I'm talking about) and to have one in working order is great, the Brand New TF-01 Truck, and the Plarail Ryan. One train that I never ever took notice of until I had it in my hands was the Plarail Stanley. As soon as I grabbed hold of it I immediately fell in love with its design, and surprisingly to me, is probably my favourite train out of this whole lot!

I have one more thing that I'm still waiting to ship from Japan, and I know you guys will like it!

Wow, now thats an amazing haul, must have been a heavy package for sure. What I like about the 70th Anniversary Burger Car is that the clear dome can be removed and your pwn graphics can be placed inside for a one of a kind advertising wagon. Impressive that you got a hold of 3 clear brown Annies but I think the 'Ultra' can be dropped from its rarity label as so many have been showing up of late. Love the Series O Shinkansen, is that the one with the light in the nose cone?

Yeah that is true about the Clear Annie, only 3000 of them were produced but that is still a lot. And no Super, the 0 series is not the one with the light in it. The one with the light in it has the new type of drive unit, and I much prefer the old type drive unit to the new one, so I made sure when I bought it that it was equipped with the old type drive unit

MORE ADDITIONS!!!

So first of all my first addition was the Trackmaster Celebration Thomas. I'm very happy I got this one because the Metallic Thomas seems to be the hardest to find out of all 4 of them, and the most popular. I'm also happy because finally the whole 75th Anniversary collection is now complete!

My second addition that I got was a FACTORY ERROR Rebecca, yes that right FACTORY ERROR. I remember watching leokimvideos store videos and seeing that there are Factory Errors out in the wild, and just by pure luck I found one in my local Target. This now is probably one of my prized possessions in my collection and one piece I will never get rid of.

My other additions are 2 Plarail 60th Anniversary Metallic Thomas' (1 BNIB and 1 Opened). Out of all my additions these ones are probably my favourite. Ever since I was a kid I've always wanted one of these, and now I'm the proud owner of two of them!
