Off The Rails Funny enough, my son was trying to get me to buy that piece since I'd bought the train itself from the same seller! I don't really need it but it would be great on a Christmas or winter themed layout.
Super The straight track is where you put all the snow balls for the blower to pick up and as it passes by and then shoots them into the middle of the loop. The side with the trees on it flips open and that is where you store all the little white snow balls that the snow blower picks up and throws.
ripley802 Dang.. I was thinking this may have been part of the capsule range so passed it up when I first saw it. Muddy did you win this one?
MuddyPoppins That's funny Ripley I thought the same exact thing! ...after days of asking the seller finally got back me...said it wasn't capsule, so yes I picked it up as a Chistmas layout piece.🙂
Super Not sure as I don't think I have ever had any of those black balls. Hank has a video review of the set, maybe you can tell from it if there is a difference.
Off The Rails Hmmm.... I’d really like another DD14. I don’t really NEED it but Hank’s video reminds me of what a cool engine it is.
sunhuntin MunchJrTrains wrote Are the snowballs the same size as the Coal balls in the Quarry loader? i should say they would be. the same size was used in the big loader series as well. fun fact: the rubix 360 game also uses the same size, in a variety of colors. they look great on a big loader set.
