Super Is Murdock the largest face of all the Thomas & Friends engines whether it be Plarail, Trackmaster etc, or any of the motorized, battery operated trains?
Super Thanks Mr Ripley Ah, I see Ucwepn has a video and he compares the 2, The Plarail does look larger. Can anyone help me out if they have a Plarail version? Could you caliper the size of his face? MuddyPoppins Tomy Hiro has the largest round face, followed by Oliver and FisherPrice Hiro, Molly, Gordon, Bertram, Whiff, FP Connor, then Murdoch... But Diesel 10 actually has the largest face of any characters followed by Rusty and Scruff!!
Super Really??? Not including Tomy Hiro, I never would have guessed any of those would be larger than Murdock except for maybe Connor. Maybe its just an optical illusion for me that with the naked eye I think Murdock is the largest. Maybe because he is so thin in the front and his smoke deflectors are tight that his face just seems larger. Now that I study Murdock closer he is even thinner than Thomas. Could he be the thinnest train and to add to the optical illusion of size, he he also the longest Thomas & Friends model? Muddy, did you caliper Tomy Hiro's face?
MuddyPoppins Actually HitToys Hank is about 2mm longer than Murdoch, but Snow Plow Hiro is the longest by default.lol
Super Oh...geesh, I never thought of taking my Murdoch and doing a live comparison. I just assumed that visually Murdock looked the longest and had the biggest face but I see now that it was the illusion of length, width along with face size. Maybe the smaller wheels and so many of them adds to tricking the brain too. Many thanks for the comparison photos Muddy, could I talk you into measuring Tomy Hiro's face if its not too much trouble?
