New member from Indiana here. I’m fairly new to the Thomas Minis game. My son has been interested in them for about six months now. I was big into collecting action figures, trading cards and comics in my younger years, so I got the bug again when we discovered the Minis. I actually found this site looking for the codes for the 2018/1 Minis bags.

My son also likes the Wooden Railway Thomas trains as well as a few Take n Play trains and some of the Trackmaster series.

We here at Blue Plastic Tracks have a large following of Members involved in Mini's so you came to the right place. One of our busiest Forums. Also, if your son is very young, his natural progression will be to eventually move into the Plarail, Trackmaster, Tomy motorized trains so we may be seeing a lot of you around here for a long time.

Plarail? How are those different from Trackmaster/Tomy?

Disregard...I see they are similar to the model train set I had as a kid.

Hi Diesel10, Plarail is essentially the same as Trackmaster/TOMY/Tomica world. Where trackmaster went to a newer track system (twice) it still maintains the ability to run on the blue track which Plarail/TOMY have always had.
