Nigels A classic locomotive and in fact very similar to the very first model train I ever owned as a kid (a Lima Class 33). This one is a bit dusty, but its complete and as I only paid less than $20 for it I'm a happy bunny 🙂
Nigels Funny you should say that as I was thinking the same thing, doubly so with the slightly rusty connectors at each end. Maybe I'll leave her as she is 🙂
Chrizzly You mean like THIS? Hornby actually did this in (I think) 2004, and it lasted until (again, I think) 2007.
Nigels That's a pretty good use of an old set of model tooling, the one I got (R758) was sold by Triang/Hornby 1967 and 1976 in that blue livery, so no wonder my example is a bit dusty/weathered lol!
