This might just be an old people problem but the blue on black with white text is a bit tough on the eyes.

It is here in the bottom of any page you can click the box to select which theme " Dark , Mobile , Light" Unless ofc on mobile but yea.

Light theme is set by default now. But you can change if you prefer dark or want to see what it looks like.

when I logged in with my cell phone, it looks the same. However it looks different on my computer. wierd.

between this and things going haywire on facebook, i thought my computer was under attack. glad to know its perfectly normal, for the most part. will take some getting used to, this new look, but it does look very modern. Tfanz, i like your design. very nice!

now, if i could work out how to turn on the windows firewall, i would be happy...

The mobile side of things are basically the same.

as much as I like the logos we can't use anything that features that track on there because we have advertisements and the tracks were designed by Tomy and are a trademark of Tomy. But any other types of logos would be cool we could have different logos every month.

I just threw this one together in Gimp 2 in about 5 minutes.

Worst case scenario you receive a C&D asking for removal of the image, but without clear Takara Tomy branding it should not come to even that point. If getting sued was as simple as putting blue track resembling Plarail in/on something then bigger companies like Namco, who have flat out included Plarail track in Katamari, would be in big trouble. Not to mention the multitude of clone brands, and businesses like Plataku which use Plarail track in their logos. The reality is this is a fan community of English speakers for a Japanese product, if they came after us id eat my hat.

What is this?! I'm sorry, but the logo was the only thing that really should've been replaced (IMO; due to the Thomas characters). The previous design looked cleaner, easier on the eyes (light gradient instead of solid white) and more "finished"/unique as opposed to some default interface that hadn't been customized. The black parts are the most jarring thing about it. I would've used the previous design but with a new logo like Trainfanz's proposed one, if not just the words "Blue Plastic Tracks". It is better than the Dark theme, though.
