Still no Plarail Silver Thomas!?

Still not a single Silver Thomas has come up for auction... 🙁
After many months now of daily searches: NOTHING. NADA. ZERO. ZILTCH.
I would have thought (and hoped) by now that one of the lucky winners would have parlayed their luck into cash, especially now with the holiday season here, but still not a single offering has yet to come up? 🙁 Very disappointing.

I have been watching also without luck. Maybe...just maybe, some of those were held onto for Xmas gifts and come January there will be some available. There was only 100 made right?

Yes me either.. Very strange that there were only a couple sold before those too.
I remember because you said that you had seen one, and we thought you we crazy, lol, then you thought that maybe we were right, so you went on a mission of sanity to find the ones that you ultimately turned on to me, but unknowingly to us they would be the last ones we'd ever see! Weird how they were all in one bunch. I do remember something in the auction description said something like that they were "employees merit prizes", so I think they might have only been given to Takara Tomy employees of some kind, and that maybe they weren't ever given away to patrons of the expos.
So I must thank you again Super!🙂

Thanks for the vid.. I am thinking about trying to produce a custom version of one of those. If anyone wants to give me ideas or their thoughts on me making a custom one then let me know. If that works out well I will consider making a few to sell to some lucky members of blue plastic tracks.

Another thing... The youtuber who posted that video posted another video showcasing him turning that into a timothy model!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh the indignity, I could just be grumpy right now but seriously why would you do that to such a rare and beautiful model.

Can you believe it!?!? We are still letting it sink it...it's amazing. Not in a 1000 years could we have imagined this...
AND it was truly a miracle of a 50/50 chance that Silver Thomas survived the journey from Thailand...
The package was nearly crushed in route to us!
Very sadly the plarail box was damaged during shipping and is no longer pristine🙁
The end with the 2nd tipper car was compressed so hard by whatever damaged the package, that it was left crimped and wrinkled and left permanent wheel marks pressed into the box. There was no damage to the tipper car, but had it happened to the other end of the package, Silver Thomas would have been destroyed. Sheer luck that he survived, and that neither car was damaged...just the box, It's very sad that it happened to such priceless package (mod and I both cried over it), but we are still beyond thankful that fate chose to crush the end that it did.
