That would be almost a million and a half dollars!!
I would not be typing right now if it were over a million dollars, because I'd be passed out on the floor!!!
Still though, almost $14,000 is still a crazy amount of money.
Thomasfan PM'ed me the link last week, and I've taken some time to look into this listing...
Bkvir had it translated for me, and the Gold Thomas is listed as: "in poor state". 🙁
If you look closely, Thomas is very beat up, especially under his wheel well, and Annie is covered in scratches.
I think it's the same one that was listed in the Japanese AUCtions that did not sell, right after we got ours.

If it had been only $1500, we would not be seeing this post here today because I would have snatched them up a in a heartbeat a week ago!! Lol
And though $15000.00 is a crazy amount of money, if the Gold Thomas were in excellent to good condition, and with the inclusion of Silver Thomas and Blushing Thomas, and if I had that kind of money, as a collector, and considering thier rarities, I would have bought them without hesitation as well...but maybe I am just crazy. Lol 😉

I am watching an item on Jauce and noticed the sellers name is similar to the one in this listing. I checked their other items but am not seeing these listed. Maybe they are not the same seller or maybe they list it various places?

I wonder is Plarnold or someone who knows Japanese could reach out?

Yeah I noticed this too, the same guy has listed on jauce a powerful gordon, thumper and a donald and douglas snow plow set, but this seems to be the only website where he has listed the gold thomas and the other trains.
