Japan Package Problems

I'm using EMS and the package and the status is still: "Pre-Shipment"

It has said: "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" for a week in Japan time. It's supposed to take up to 8 days for arrival. But this package will be stuck for weeks, months, or possibly years.

Have anybody ever had a problem with stalled packages? If so, tell us here.

EMS packages are supposed to take 4-8 days.) to he delivered but this one I'm getting will probably take much longee than expected.

This package could of been stolen, lost or hasn't been scanned as of January 20, 2019.

Off The Rails

I recall that, at least here in the US, there was an issue with delays due to a problem in San Diego(?). It was primarily an issue for the Western US, so those of us who get international packages through New York weren’t affected. Canadian customers were also experiencing delays due to the postal strike late last year.

If the package made it to Tokyo International and is just sitting there, it’s likely because the receiving postal facility is unable to process it.

UPDATE: The package I'm getting soon was at Osaka International Airport not Tokyo and it's processing at JFK Airport as of yesterday, this package is going to a local USPS and them will be delivered by Wednesday. I'm getting them by Wednesday. Can't wait to add to the purchases thread.
