Yes, it is the forward/reverse version. However, Ucwepn tried it and the drive unit was slightly too long compared to the normal "Thomas type" [size=small](we need better terms for the drive units)[/size]. As such, it can't fit in regular engines. Good thing the tinfoil piece method and Mr. Motorman can make normal ones go backwards.
