Your busy bee James is the exact same one that Ripley802 and I both have!!
It has the same weird bottom to it, and seems to have been produced inverted. Rather than locking inside internally to create a flat bottom, the piece is flipped around so that the insert protrudes outwardly, which also creates an actual height difference too. (And stacking)
I don’t think that I’ve ever seen any that were produced correctly though, or any other Hit Toys releases with the same mistake for that matter, so it seems like it was only ever a one time mistake with only the BB James and that’s just the way that they are.
Also, there were many MANY beautiful pieces within those listings, and out of all of them, for the shipping and price, the rarity, condition, character, and just the over all one that would be the nicest to have, and the only one item that I really considered bidding on was your Gordon.
It’s awesome. Such an iconic piece to own!!
