For me, the big attraction is the now hard to find DE-10. The rare curved bridge is lagniappe!
It’s possible to build curved bridges in real life and curved deck bridges are very common for both road and rail. Curved suspension bridges are more of an engineering challenge but they do exist. There’s a famous railroad example outside of Massillon, Ohio and a road bridge on the old Route 66, outside of St Louis, Missouri. As you can imagine, the road bridge was known for being a bit tricky to drive and today, it’s a bike-pedestrian bridge only.
