That's the ONLY version of it on the Thomas & Friends Motorized Wiki.. Are you aware of any other version?

I believe he means the specific Thomas model being used, which in this case is the 2012 CGI version. There is another version of this pack that includes the pre-redesign Thomas.

The pack itself was released in 2012, and I assume the change was made sometime later that year (but am not sure).

The pack first came out in the Spring 2012 wave of products (holiday season 2011 to May 2012) when the older version of Thomas was still being circulated in sets and engine packs. It was updated around July/August when the CGI style Thomas, which before that had been available in the Misty Island sets dating back to 2010, took over as the main version of Thomas.
