emilyfan101 today, I just finished fitting a power dash motor on my 4.5 volt spencer. he run very smoothley and fast but is very loud. I could even hear it outside🙁. Is THERE a way to solve this problem:huh:
Ucwepn is it a rattly noise or is just whirring gear and motor noise? these more powerful motors and upgraded voltage by their very nature are much noisier than standard.
Super I had the same problem with a flat drive on a Trackmaster Hiro (converted to Polar Express). I also upgraded its motor figuring that would quiet it down but it only made it worse so I figured the noise was coming from the gearing itself. So After posting the problem HERE I scraped the whole drive and installed one from a new Luke. Now it is very quiet even with an upgraded Power Dash motor.
