well guys, amazing buy #1 arrived today. i had to get a courier to collect, as it was a pick up only from a town 2 days drive away, lol. the seller did an amazing job with the packing... loads of bubble wrap and newspaper. i deposited an extra $10 as a thank you for the trouble taken.
the photos she used were terrible and it was listed as a plastic train set. no mention of tomy, thomas, tomica or disney anywhere. 😃
i had it delivered to work. it was packed in a beer carton. got a few looks walking through the factory with a case like that in my arms. lol :blush:
in total, i got all this for $45. [not including shipping.] the tan train, dr yellow and grumpy thomas all need major work. yep, thats another troublesome tanker there.
yes, i did say disney! the auction came with 5 plakids, which fit in the coach. havent tested this yet as i havent worked out how to open it. will fiddle with it more.
this i ordered from ebay and it also arrived today. i hope to replicate the mickey-shaped track set using double track. have another pair of these coming from jauce.
