Oliver's coaches have pale grey roofs. There's a possibility that you're looking at one of Sir Handel's coaches, which are redder, and with a black roof. Difficult to tell for sure from these images. Colour-corrected image:
There's a lot of difference in colour between the grey wheel that's right next to the coach roof and the roof itself, even though they are both in deep shadow.
