Can't upload an avatar

I tried to replace my avatar with a new one, but it didn't work. What's worse, I can't even re-upload the old avatar I've been using. Whatever I try to upload as an avatar, I always get the following message from the system:

Please correct the following errors before continuing:

The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again.

Can someone help me?

Sorry Mr No, this has been happening for everybody (even me) since we changed to a new server. Our tech specialist has been notified so hopefully it won't take long.

Oh, well, no big deal. I assumed it was something of that nature, especially when I couldn't even upload my old avatar.

Maybe you should use Gravatar? it's supported. just a tip.

Can you tell us more about this 'Gravatar' B1B2?

Go to User CP and press Edit Avatar, then search up Gravatar on Google or your preferred web browser. When you find the website, press sign in and then go to sign up, then put your email and sign up, go back to the Gravatar website and upload your profile image, then insert your Gravatar link into BPT's Edit Avatar box, and boom!

Heavens! Pray tell, can it be more complicated? Gravatar (what on earth is that?), finding the website, signing up... all that for an avatar? I suppose I'll rather be avatarless until the technical support solves the problem. Thanks anyway. 😊
