Wh-Wha? What is this new place? How did we get here? What’s happening??
(The new site looks really freaking cool, now everything is in one spot and everything else is so easy to access now, it’s awesome!)
Anyways, hello BPT! I’ve got 2 new items for you all to gaze at! They are both used, but one comes with its ORIGINAL BOX!
Here is item #1, acquired on Easter! (And of course happy 4/20 too 😉):

TrackMaster Bill from the HiT Toy Company in 2009!

And here’s item #2, acquired 2 days ago from the time I’m posting this:

TrackMaster Scruff The Scruncher from Fisher-Price in 2010!
Price: $22.99 (Won on bid, bids: 1)
Shipping: $4.52
Total: $27.51
Location: Maryville, Tennessee, USA
These are my 2 newest acquisitions, and boy do they look great. Bill was a happy Easter Basket surprise and when I got him outta there, I gave him a quick inspection to find a stripped screw, and a busted motor.

So I casually replaced the stripped screw with another one I had, and the motor according to the seller didn’t work even with a fresh battery. So I gave it the @Ucwepn Good Ol’ Tap™, and it was noisy, but working like new. I then cleaned up its aesthetics a little bit, and boom! A 3rd HiT Toys Bill I happen to own in a great condition!
(I do happen to own two other HiT Toy Company Bills, and one’s a 2006 Little Friends one New in Open Box, while another is a 2009 Big Friends one Brand New in Box, and as to why I said “from 2009” instead of 2006, is because the production label 040E9, 40th day of 2009 (Monday, February 9th, 2009) showed it was made specifically in 2009, so that is why I wrote that there.)
As for Scruff, I was very surprised to see that this one, and my BNiB one (courtesy of @ajtrain944 back in February 2023, thank you man! Still got it like you had it! BNiB in great shape!), were both made on the same day! I looked at the factory codes on the bottom of both, and they each said “3090WC” on the bottom. Meaning they were made on the 309th day of 2010, which is actually Friday, November 5th, 2010. So that was interesting to see, two Scruffs from two completely different states both being made on the same day, and now in the same household and possession of a 16 year-old kid in Frederick, Maryland. Beautiful.
As for Scruff’s functionality and aesthetics, he (and his trucks) look perfect. Only needing a polish on the axles, and then they’ll be in tip-top shape. Yet using a Dremel on this is gonna hurt, as I do know from restoring the axles of a small red log car for a 2013 Big Friends F-P Luke, so this’ll take a bit, but I’ll see if I can get a photo of the finished restoration posted here. Once I do, I know they’ll look as fresh and clean as this new website.
Well that’ll be it from me for now, might have another thing or two here until my B-Day on June 23rd! So stay tuned for that post when it comes! Until then, wait and see what the next item(s) will be, and keep on rockin’ on this Really Useful Forum!
