A Dire Situation

So, I have found a BNiB 2003 Plarail James Priced @$180.00 with Free Shipping and I don't have enough to get it, but I've devised a plan at how I can get it:

If there is anyone on here who's be willing to buy a Wooden Railway Flying Scotsman from me for $129.99 then I can most likely get that James. As to why I'm so desperate however:

I have wanted to do something no other Thomas and Friends fan has ever thought of doing.

Remake all Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends Episodes and Movies using the entire Motorized Brand of Thomas and Friends.

I will try my dang hardest to make every single set, setpiecce, model, background and character as accurate to the original source material. And that Plarail James is quite possibly the most important character in this undertaking (if you are thinking Imma actually make a custom functioning Big Mickey Model out of an R/C Cranky from "Cranky and Flynn Save the Day!", you'd be correct).

This will be the Greatest Achievement since Project Tiger Moth, but it will take a while to do this with just 4 people (Myself, Mom, Dad, and my Sister, who's got to deal with college now @23 years old).

I should also mention that if there is a Greatest Moments Pack made for an episode, the I will use that specified model plus it's roilling stock and Track Pieces (if it comes with any) in only that episode. (Ex. Duncan in: "Runaway Elephant"'s Duncan model and rolling stock will be used for only "The Runaway Elephant".)

So if there is any lucky person who wants a Wooden Railway Flying Scotsman in Good Used Condition, here is this opportunity cause you'll be benefitting youself and me.

Why do you need a BNIB James when you're going to take him out of his box and use him for a movie prop? The only reason to pay top dollar for BNIB is surely to keep him that way?

Well, The reason I'd use items that are NiB because I know that if I use them on screen there would be no damage to the model, and I'm not using a model with damage because it wouldn't look good on a movie camera.

Also, the tape sealing the box has yellowed and almost came off too.

I think using used models isn't an issue, as long as you have access to replacement stickers, if needed and also to some acrilic paint, markers for touching up the lining.
I' ve used engines and usually their not at all bad, maybe just some slight sticker damage or a scratch to the lining, witch can easily be fixed

I'm Sorry about that, people in my class did that at the end not me. Also I swear I'm not like that.

Anyways, those people said Thomas & Friends is for babies and that all this collecting of "baby toys" is weird and said we are all nerds ongod.

It's good, but it doesn't have that premade detail. I could make the detail on it, but I think the Plarail one's pre-painted eyes, lamps, lamp irons, and handrails are just what bring it to life, and also I've got to worry about those eyebrows.

But I could use this for the very first episode when James just passes by Thomas with Henry @[deleted]:

Not much of James is seen here, meaning I don't have to use a detailed model ( and I ain't using a TM 2 Model ugh).

Aaaand... there goes the time that TOMY model will be on screen:

Reason being is that the Plarail James would shine bright here, along with the fact that I need 4 other engines (Thomas and Gordon I already have btw).

But anyways, thanks for the link Muddy! I will possibly invest in that James if it means I can remake the first episode.

An idea popped into my head, and I may end up doing the same thing myself for a little while. Since James is not that visible, you could buy one of the CGI plarail James' it will be cheaper and it will have the white running plate and the stripes

The CGI one is bad, I ain't using it, and well James' og Plarail model is the rarest because FOR SOME REASON, THAT was the first one to get incorporated to CGI, why not Thomas? WHY JAMES??

Also, I'm using the OG Plarail, TOMY, TrackMaster, and Fisher-Price Models until Series 17, the last season to have a TrackMaster 1 Greatest Moments made for it. Then comes the use of the Spiky-Wheeled Engines... (They Suck)

So, the Flying Scotsman I said I'd put up has jut now been ut up for $85.00 on Bid and $119.99 on Buy it Now, I would list Spencer, but I want to see how Scotsman does first, maybe I might get that James after all!

So, I've Sold the Flying Scotsman for $110.50 After 11 Bids and 8 Watchers, and I also have $78.00 in my Wallet Currently. Meaning I've got $188.50 rn, and that is enough to get the Plarail James, but I have a Problem...

There's Many Things On eBay that are Also Quite Rare and Could be a Great Expansion to my Vast Collection
(Which at this point is like Around $10,000-$20,000).

Farmer McColl's Farm or Sodor Candy Co. should probably be the cheapest since all the other four come with motorised engines, which should (logically) make them cost more than rolling stock packs.

Otherwise, try to buy Flora before someone else swoops her up. Unlike Percy and the Logging Locos, I don't think she'll be there too long.

Well laG, she's been on eBay since December 17th of last year, meaning she's been there for 4 months. Also, if you were keen-eyed, you would've noticed the "Funtastic Limited" label on her box. So she's from Austrailia. meaning the shipping would be a lot.

As you can see, it is very dirty, and quite bent and beat up (even cracked and broken open in a few areas) . However, that doesn't mean I can't clean it up. The seller even put in the description that it needs cleaning off, so I can still find a way to make this look good, but my family recommends I wait for a better condition one, with the blister still perfectly entact.
