thought i should do one of these, so here’s my Tomy Train collection
(i promise i have things other than tomytrain, i’m just very into it at the moment!)
written as a list it goes like this:
rolling stock:
yellow hopper truck
blue chassis (from the intercity train i believe)
cargo truck chassis (would have been used with the blue crate piece, which i do not have)
three troublesome trucks
annie and clarabel
engines:
blue and white diesel engine
thomas
james
henry*
others:
crane (missing legs)
stoplight (not working)
forklift
train driver tim
the fat controller
[size=xx-small]*henry is sort of a mish-mash, he has a henry shell but a gordon chassis and tender. i bought it because it was cheap and i assumed i could get the missing pieces separately. silly me.[/size]
[size=xx-small]i’ve modified the thomas engines to have white running boards. these are not painted, and are instead pieces of paper cut to shape and stuck down with blue-tack. a simple and easily removable method with good results![/size]
