This raises an interesting issue, which is that you cannot always be sure that the chassis / superstructure combination of any wagon or coach is original. I have received seemingly impossible combinations on more than one occasion.
I'm not an expert on Thomas products, but a quick look at the Wiki suggests that HiT Toys produced a MILK tanker (with Diesel, and in a Truck Pack) and a Fuel tanker (with Toys "R" Us Percy), all of which presumably had the same black chassis, so what is there to stop someone (or indeed yourself) putting any TAR tank onto the HiT branded chassis from one of these?
