MrKirby48 MrKirby48 It so just happens yesterday Migratory Bird Store contacted Equal Season to tell, in fact, they have a new in box knockoff Talk n Action Thomas set! Equal Season will buy it soon and I will update this thread when he receives it. Right now the only footage found is just Thomas playing his theme tune. (that video I shared last year)
DalaGStanator chrisjo Going by the video MrKirby48 mentioned, the English one plays the same voice samples as the real (UK) version but the theme tune has a different “lead instrument” with shorter notes (like a piano’s). The Cantonese one likely has an original voice since (to my knowledge) TOMY never made (a) real Chinese version(s).
MrKirby48 DalaGStanator The Cantonese version of the toy isn’t confirmed to be real yet. The only proof of the existence of the Cantonese version is a testimony of someone who told us he had one of these in their childhood. It would be neat if one of these is found.
MrKirby48 CASE CLOSED! Knock-off Talk n Action Thomas does all the actions and sounds from the genuine toy! The only difference I noticed is when Thomas says “That was fun!” he says aftewards “Here we go!” Take a look..
