So for context, Mt. Takao is west of Tokyo. Many people like myself try to get to the top of the mountain which is literally a pain in the arse! I worked out for this and still was gassed when I got to the top of Mt. Takao.
But to help people climb up, to make things easier, most take the cable car as it takes you to the station. But from the station up, that's where you begin your shorter hike.
