I also did an unboxing video on it recently as well. I made Dumbleton Hall out of this second one. I used the coupling from the locomotive of this one for Frankie.

I just did a rear coupling modification one of the coaches that came with the pack. This modification was inspired by another user on this forum, @Super.

Super Thanks, I’m thinking about getting another one so I can modify that coach as well. I want the Hogwarts Express to have a rake of 4 coaches.

I bought another Plarail Hogwarts Express so I can be on the road to having full accurate rake of coaches like @Super did as the locomotive had 4-5 coaches. Also, I plan on making King’s Cross a couple platforms long on two sides.

And yes, I’ll be making this GWR Hall as well.

Super Yeah, the engine that will be used for this custom hasn’t come in yet. It will more than likely be here by the end of the week.

After getting the 4 coaches, I might plan on keeping a couple as generic BR MK1 Coaches.

leylandvictory2 No, I however have one unmodified one and one modified one. All you have to do is make a small cut at the bottom at the back of the shell. You have to slide the coupler into the hole on the rear of the chassis.

I used a Dremel for the cutting.

chrisjo Looks good. I finally got my 3rd Hogwarts Castle and I just started making it into Hagley Hall.

The coach will be modified into one of these coaches with the rear coupling.

chrisjo …especially considering that something like this can be easily corrected (and even “supplemented” the image a little, if you want to) with almost any slightly better phone with AI nowadays. 🙃
