ilovehotshot Breakable is what my son calls them even though I don't think he ever broke any of them. We started collecting these as my son got older so we still have loads more in the packages that are not on display.<img src="/assets/files/placeholder.png" alt="(missing)">
Super That is a sweet shelf unit to keep the trains on. So easy to see and get the ones you want to play with.Does your son mean that these train can get into accidents and smash em ups where the collectable ones in boxes are not?
ROCKINATOR Those Tomy/Trackmaster trains are indestructible to a certain extent and with minimal maintence, you could use them daily without any issues.
ilovehotshot My son is 15 now. When he was young we had to distinguish the trains. If he was talking about these types, he called them breakable. None that I know of have ever broke. He was and is a very gentle boy. Never broke or lost any toy.

"Breakable"... meaning the wooden ones seemed invincible to him...so cute🙂 yes only a gentle minded child would distinguish their differences with that veiw...very nice🙂
Gerisplarail1 From a childs point of view, watching your father either take the top off or unscrew the bottom to put in or replace batteries, would easily translate to Breakable (Trains that can be broken the put back together and used)
