Just a long shot in case there are any other BPT members in this part of the world.
Our train club is mainly interested in our ride-on railways. Recently we have accumulated a fair collection of second-hand Plarail in our clubhouse for the benefit of member’s children. This month one of our neighbors will again set up a display of the vintage 0-gauge trains the he collects.
Last year we also had one table of toy grade trains and track (wood, Plarail and 3D printed, OS-railway etc.) in the front of the room so that it was accessible to visiting children. Then the parents and grandparents could reminisce over the valuable tin-plate whizzing around a 3-rail tin-plate track. The collector asked us if we could sent up another children’s table this year. We have delegated this to one of our members’ children so I expect the table will be 90% blue plastic track.
I would not make a long journey to visit us (unless you are into 7 ¼″ or 5″ gauge) but if you are passing by please drop in and introduce yourself. Address and time info here: [https://dazed.org/narara/index.htm]
I assume that I am not the only Australian here, noting that someone else used to own a Holden car.
