Yet it seems like they’re just going off of the BWBA seasons continuing the stupid bouncing.

If they were to bounce, do it like Nitrogen did, where they don’t explicitly bounce up and down but sort of shift when they hit something or the accelerate.

I think that would have a much more realistic feel to it, and would actually (maybe, idk) “delight fans [of] old.”

There’s some stuff this thread haven’t covered yet, so I will put it now.
A closer look at the new diecast engines, the following list consist of:

If you ask me, I don’t mind the redesign of Flynn at all, like he wasn’t a important or revelant character in so many years. And my favorite model so far is diecast Henry!

Super I would call it bad, it’s one of Plarail’s worst redesigns, although accurate in the face, the rest is just the 2018 Thomas

Super It’s fake (edited). Apart from the face (from one of the Mattel toys) being brighter than the rest of the image, Japan only gets new Thomas content one year after most other countries. This reboot is no exception and hasn’t even premiered domestically yet.

As we could see in the poster of the Tokyo fair that will be held in May, Thomas & Friends in Japan will look normal for now. However, the question is what will happen when the new series starts playing in Japan. Then there will most likely be a change, and new, terrifying AI robot faces will be introduced. I guess Plarail will only change the faces and not everything else like Mattel is doing which is experimenting again with new rails, magnetic couplings, etc. But it’s those robotic semi-retarded and in some cases evil faces (have you seen Mattel’s new Mavis? She looks evil) that are the worst thing to happen to the series.

I think it would be better for them to concentrate on producing quality content for the series itself, rather than constantly changing these secondary elements, which then greatly affects the model trains. I understand the logic: they want to produce something new so that people will buy it, but I’m sure they would buy even more if the content of the TV show itself was great.

Mister No I think plarail might be adding a separate line for the “classic” merch, since a video did surface of a plarail commercial with the classic Thomas and Percy faces

Judging by the fact charlie appeard to have had nia’s face, I think these may just be prototypes.
