In addition to the Tidmouth Sheds set, the Giant Whistling Thomas also got an early release in the US. Somewhat like the TOMY Giant Thomas, the (non-electronic) whistle uses an air pump activated by pressing the dome (though it sounds more like a wooden or plastic mouth-blown whistle than that). It turned out the wheels are functional and the coupling rods move accurately, something Mattel hasn’t done since the Special Edition model from 2015; as far as I know. Like in the pre-release photos, the roof (and coal in the bunker) lifts up to reveal the cab detail and provide room for figures, storage, mods, etc.. Demo of the pneumatic whistle feature
