Future World Collection

I have stopped adding to the "Future World" collection (there's just too many) of new in the box Tomy and Trackmaster trains for Supers future Great Grand Children and for memories for my current Grandson. Of course these original Trackmaster trains are no longer being made and if Tomy loses their license to make Thomas characters all of these surely won't be easy to find in Future World.

I tried to keep the collection Tomy only with Trackmaster character trains added that weren't made by Tomy but there are a couple that I liked better in the Trackmaster line. Namely Stephen the Rocket and Toby. There are a couple doubles like Tomy Hiro and Talking Trackmaster Lost & Found Hiro. Regular Tomy Thomas, Clarabel & Annie and Tomy C-12 Thomas. The new Tomy Gordon with different side rods and Trackmaster Gordon with the long side rods.

Also wanted to have some rare or hard to find trains now as they will make quite the score in the Future World. I will be sealing these up soon in a storage container soon and putting them away. Here is hoping that my future Grandchildren will be the hit of their neighborhood playing with these then vintage trains. I hope they will enjoy these.

LOL...I think American Pickers show will be paying a visit to Evans house in Future World to pick the tons of trains and toys you have amassed for him in a huge barn.

Oh, there are many that I have missed but I wasn't out to make a complete set as there are just too many. I tried to keep it mainly with the most recognizable faces but there are some that aren't that famous. I was also trying to just get enough to fit into one of the many storage containers I have but it looks as though I have too many for that and they will spill over to a second container. With all this train related stuff to eventually store away I figure I will have ten to twenty containers full.

You wouldn't see him in my stash either, he's proving very difficult to get hold of now, there hasn't been a listing on Ebay UK since before last christmas.

I sold 5 Bertrams in the last 12 months so he is out there. I have another on the way in a bundle of 55 engines .

Yes, Future World Collection is all sealed, New In Box only! I figured even if the Future World heirs don't want to play with them maybe they can get a good price selling it to collectors and the price would be a lot more new in box.

I did pass on a couple NIB Bertrams in the last few months at great prices because I had to draw a line somewhere. I did want to concentrait on Tomy Fearless Freddie, Oliver, Boco and the like.

nice work, super! it might pay to also leave instructions on lubing the engines before use, and maybe some pots of lube. ive had vintage engines refuse to work without encouragement as the lube has dried up/gone hard.

And don't keep them anywhere where they can get too warm. I recently dug a box of old Triang and Hornby rolling stock out of my attic, only to find that their plastic bodies were in some cases more bent than a........banana.

Good advice for anything stored in an attic. The containers will be stored somewhere inside my home's living area (not attic) until such time that I am no longer here then up to my Daughter and Grandson to decide what to do with them. I had been toying with the idea of using shipping plastic wrap to seal the storage boxes from dust and possible insects getting in but nixed the idea as the environment inside the containers needs to breathe so it doesn't become too dry or too humid which could both could certainly damage the contents in the long run.

When I saw the title I thought Future World was the name of a Tomica World sub-series I'd never heard of! Seeing all of that at once looks pretty exciting. Like the little additional engines you threw in for good measure. Good to know that the future generation will be playing with some of what I think are one of the best versions of the Thomas engines.

A couple of additions to the Future World Time Capsule. I could not pass on a good deal. The Light Up Thomas is pretty neat. I like how the cab lights up too. I an also waiting for the Light Up Percy to arrive.

This just in...to go along with Light Up Thomas above, we now have added Light Up Percy to the Future World Collection. Are there any more of these exclusive Light Up trains?

Great adds Super!! Those light ups are already fairly rare, as they only made those two, then seem to have scraped the idea...plus the few that were made were only sold at Target, so there a very unique addition to any collection!!🙂
