I don't know why but I am always associating Plarail as Tomy and vice versa. So Tomy did a release of an HiT Hank right? There are some differences with it and this Trackmaster engine driven one and it looks just to be in the details. Just a quick go over from pictures I see that the middle wheel on the new Hank above is more detailed but the Tomy/HiT middle wheel looks to be actually a working wheel giving him six working wheels. Is this the only train that has this feature?. The Tomy/Hit has better detail in the inside/back of the cab as it is black with silver hand rails where the new release I have has the same blue color as the outside as are the hand rails. The top of the cow catcher has a white detail on the Tomy/HiT release where mine is black. There may be other detail differences I could notice if I had a side by side comparison. Hmm...it was suggested to me to use this Hank as my Polar Express engine....with that detail on the inside of the back of the cab a mod with a red flickering light might just look great...Hmmm...maybe I should grab another 😃
