The mail van is just the regular van mold with stickers added on, the slate truck’s cargo is just a sticker, Percy’s cab details are stickers and it pulls the shocked face from the Percy & Rocky pack.

The James reuses the face from the Honeybee Chase James and the tar tanker is a re-release since they never discontinued the tanker mold.

Percy is looking great with his oh-so-much-mail-to-deliver face! His new mail car looks amazing! Is this a little window in the front (and possibly on the rear side) of that mail car? Beautiful wine red colour too! 🤩

Well, no, now I don’t see it anymore, Super. I thought it was some kind of a little black closed window, but as it turns out, it’s a black part of Percy’s tender at the back of his cab! I see nonexistent windows… 🤪
Anyway, the mail car looks amazing (with or without a window)!

FfarquharDeveloper I don’t care if Percy’s mail car is just a regular van, I like it anyway. It’s colour is beautiful, and it looks like Neville’s van (wich also looks great), just with the roof painted black. Maybe it’s the same mould, even the same colour, I’m not sure.

I thought the moulding detail was a little different, but I expect you are correct.

My guess as to why they did that was because of recency relevancy since they did remake scenes from it in Chucklesome Trucks (S23, 2019)

Is the Messy James with Tar a completely new version of Him?

This pack represents James in Dirty Objects (James in a Mess) when he crashed into a train of Tar Tankers back in Season 1 (1984), and it was later recreated in Season 23 (2019).

None of the major merch ranges have ever released a variant of James based on this episode so yes this is a new version of him. However, all of the parts involved are pulled from already existing items (James’ shocked face from the honeybee chase pack, and the tar tanker just being a recolor of the tanker mold)

These new releases are really going to make the Thomas fans very happy since there has been so much discussion of Plarail discontinuing making new Thomas related train.

Fans are very sensitive. Comforts didn’t help, many saw “All Engines Go” as a kind of end of the world. And like so many times before: the end of the world didn’t happen. 🤪

Glad to see some “classic” Thomas designs. My son had given me a “heads up” about these but this is the first time I’m seeing them for myself.

@ Mr No: Yeah, my son was one of those fans. He sent me a screen shot this week announcing the end AEG and he was THRILLED! I did warn him to be careful what he wished for.
