Hey Everyone, I guess I should start my (our) own thread for plarail related purchases. For my son Evan "Almighty" of course! 😛 Tomica Hypercity Super Fr...

Man this spot needs dusting! 😃

Shinkalion 500 Kodama arrived this past weekend.
Purchased additional Amtrak sets and Super deluxe sets (Red f units)

We have been focused on Lego Technic
If you are subscribed to my youtube channel you probably saw our builds

Happy Holidays if you don't see me for a while!

Hello and welcome to BPT. Maybe you would like to introduce yourself in the New Member Forum. 😃

I am amazed at the size and time it must took for those Lego sets on you Channel HERE Love the motorcycles. Hows the basement remodeling going?

Trainfanz

I didn't know 500 Kodama came out until a few days ago. I've been on top of the Shinkalion line, but it looks like I'll have to wait a bit on this one.

Have fun, Evan!

Has Super forgotten? ActionChugger is a veteran member here. Are any of the Technic models altered from their original designs? One of the helicopters looks custom.

Nigels

Welcome back AC, seems you been busy with lego lately lol!

Strangely I've been dipping my toes back in there too!!

Some of the sets are 2-1 meaning they can be converted into a different design. I have been buying 2 sets of each so I do not have to take it apart and rebuild 😃

Trainfanz

You two tried the Hayabusa/Kodama combined mode yet? 😃

I believe those bits on the upper legs aren't supposed to be extended in that form. 😛

Our Lego Technic mini 2016 collection  Me thinks 2017 is back on lego again😃
Dont worry! Plarail is still on my mind
Someone beat me to a Red - F unit! couple days ago! Wonder who it was?? :dodgy:

Nigels

Not just Lego Technic methinks, I spy an Avengers Heli-Carrier in the middle of that little lot - quite a nice big (and pricey) Lego set 😃

Super

Thats a great picture AC. It is either giving us an idea as to exactly how big these models are or how small Evan is. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

I'd say it gives us more an idea of the size of the models, that Avengers carrier is something like 18" long as I recall from when I saw it in the Lego store. More to the point it gives us an idea of the size of AC's wallet if he can buy 2 of each to save dismantling/rebuilding the sets that make two models 😃

Correction, it is about 32" long 😃

Ok, silly questions time 🙂

Firstly does the 'test centre' come with the motor etc... or is that an optional upgrade? I suspect the latter, but worth asking 🙂

Secondly, why so many of the Merc? The range is pretty large and some of the others look even nicer than the Merc. Not that I have anything against a Merc after all I have a real life one 😃

Oh, and lastly not a question, but thought you'd like to know I scored a Lego Metro-Liner set the other day 😉
