Evan Almighty and His Toy Collection

Hey Everyone, I guess I should start my (our) own thread for plarail related purchases. For my son Evan "Almighty" of course! 😛 Tomica Hypercity Super Fr...

Ok, silly questions time 🙂
Firstly does the 'test centre' come with the motor etc... or is that an optional upgrade? I suspect the latter, but worth asking 🙂

I added a motor, ordered a smaller motor so I can build a housing behind the dyno

Secondly, why so many of the Merc? The range is pretty large and some of the others look even nicer than the Merc. Not that I have anything against a Merc after all I have a real life one 😃

I like this Merc, and I used to own an older version, 190E which I installed an EVO II kit and went to Carshows and won at least 30 trophies and featured in a Video lol

We own all of the Lego Speed Champion Series from 2015-present
It looks cool with the same car but in different colors.

Oh, and lastly not a question, but thought you'd like to know I scored a Lego Metro-Liner set the other day 😉

Nice!

My son loves seeing thumbs up and view counts, he wants to be famous like Dan DTM Minecraft channel lol

Well, getting that far takes quite the amount of uploads and posts. I don't have a YouTube yet, but I know it's gonna be a real pain at first.

Did you get the Lego Emerald Express yet AC? If not you really really should, it is a masterpiece of the lego art, easily one of the best kits they've ever made. Basically its a flying scotsman complete with working pushrods, gearbox, the works and it can be motorised so hold onto that large motor you got 😉

ActionChugger

Nope, i see that they are going for double the original price.

This is true, but at the same time when they are 10 times the original price you'll be kicking yourself :p

More bins? for Lego and overflowing plarail things 😃

Upgraded Evan's bike

Our Weekend/Sunday trip/haul from Toy r Us

Very cool. Is everything in the last picture Lego, on the table and including that airplane? Did you make those tables? I am telling you...you need to buy many more of those storage bins and save them for the next hobby you and Evan get into. Time will fly from training wheels to drivers license.

Nigels

Nice collection there AC (and yes Super I think its all lego including the airliner 🙂)

ActionChugger

Those are some of our Lego collection lol
On the table are mostly Lego Speed Champion series and custom cars.
Underneath are Technic sets
Tables are from Ikea

Super

What will you do when you have no more room to display any built Lego sets......move?
How will you store them? Would you disassemble them and put them back in their box for the future?

No, he would most likely move. I've got a whole room for trains, this guy's gonna have a whole house for all of this!

Nigels

He'll just build a new house in his yard out of lego Super, get with the gig lol!!

Super

How cool would this be in the back yard. The loft could hold hundreds of plastic storage bins while the first level would have many layouts, displays and a workroom for repairs and mods.....a fella can dream can't he.

So when is the big move. With all you collections growing and growing, Evan Too, you will have to move eventually anyway so might as well be now and save the money from the basement remodel and build this great shed 😃

Yeah what a target for the next twister, at least in the basement they can only get flooded lol!! Imagine a twister hitting that full of all AC's treasures, all the neighbours would love it raining all those goodies 😃

Super

LOL

Don't think AC has to worry much about Tornadoes in his neck of the woods although they could touch down anywhere but if one did I would want to be under that rain of goodies for sure.

ActionChugger

You guys are still crazy 😃

I am still focused on finishing the basement someday... again!!

Other things break that needs fixing... home ownership

Just had to post this...

A few days back, Evan wanted some Minecraft plug-in for his ipad and it cost money. I told him no. He told me "maybe we should sell the tomicas = plarail"

I gave him these look in correct sequence :s:dodgy::s :-/
And he then said "Just kidding daddy,we have not played with them in a while."

Took him to Toys r us and bought him some legos and hot wheels.

Crisis averted for now!😃

Hope everyone is well!

Super

Hi AC, nice to hear from you again and that is a cute story about Evan, thanks for sharing it with us...On a serious note, give Evan my number and whenever he wants to buy something that you have told him costs too much that we can work out something on the side using ~~your~~ his collection of Plarails as collateral 😃
