I wonder if the seller is very surprised and thrilled to what this train brought him. I also wonder if they really knew what they had here since in the description they state "I think that it is scarce goods" and with only a 3950yen starting price. And the seller alluded to the fact that at a Thomas Plarail Fair 10 years ago, this was a prize. Might this be a one of a kind drawing prize making this the ultimate in collecting?
Super I am exhausted from being up all night, and have so many thoughts and feelings, apologies and thanks to make and share with everyone, but I have not completely gathered them completely....But your post about its provenance draws me to agree with explanation in regards to my original conclusions about it existence...
It or "a gold Thomas" obviously always existed...the wiki image always proved there was a least one, but I always maintained that I thought it was a mod or "one of" given to executives or something, and never offered to the general public, which would disqualify it from checklists to "collect them all" and made it questionable to be included as a released issue on the wiki site...
I still feel these suspicions to be correct and, yes Ripley, I can't wait to have the paper translated to finally put it to rest and know what the production and distribution was.
